Bloom and Glow

The Bloom And Glow Quilt was inspired by evening walks through wildflower fields and how golden hour light shines through individual blooms. The name is also a nod to the lyrics "bloom and grow" from the song "Edelweiss", as the design loosely resembles the song's namesake flower.  While wildflowers were the original design inspiration, the feature shapes also resemble stars.  Paired with a dark background, the quilt design could be stars shining bright in the night sky.

2 colorways are included:

• Cover version features 3 colors + background. 
• Mix & Match Fat Quarter Version is pre-cut friendly + background.

4 sizes are included:

• Mini - 25" x 25"
• Baby - 43" x 43"
• Throw - 65" x 65"
• Twin - 65" x 87"

This pattern is listed as an intermediate skill level and utilizes techniques such as cutting templates, sewing curves, and trimming half rectangle triangles.  The pattern contains a link to a step-by-step video tutorial that shows all of the steps for making each block.  The templates (4 pages) can be printed on 8.5" x 11" standard home printer paper.  Please note: due to the use of templates there will be a fair amount of cut-off fabric in "orange peel" shapes.

This listing is for a PDF digital pattern.  The pattern can be viewed on a device or printed on standard 8.5" x 11" printer paper at home (the pattern includes 4 pages of templates that will need to be printed).
